This week we learned how to work on a pechakucha. This is helping us to work on our flow. Being able to show and make everything fit together. Also making it so that the slides all connect with one another. You don't want to be going from one point and then going to another and then back to the original point you started with. You have to be able to get right to the point and tell what you are trying to get out there. If you keep going on and on then you are going to lose your audience. Time management is very big when it comes to anything. You have to make sure you can get everything done. It is fine to take breaks. But you have to stay on task and get to what you need to do. It is hard to catch back up if you consistently slack off and just keep pushing your work to the side. If you get it done before it is due or the time to turn it in is up then you will have all the time you need to go and make changes or do whatever it is that you wanna do.

This week we learned that a character arc can show you connections about a character. You can see how certain events lead to how the character is now in the book. You'll see the changes and the difference in the younger version of that certain character. Being able to see how specific events have changed this character will put it into a different perspective. And will also show you what they did or how they could have changed if they did or didn't do something. Being able to identify when, where, and how a character changed can be really big if you are wanting to understand the book. This week we also learned that being able to comprehend and understand how the character is being affected is big because then you can see what it is that is happening in that characters eyes. It helps if you are able to work on why they are the way they are. If you can make connections between characters and events and what role it had in a character's life it changes how you will be looking at it. |
